Big Gay Sex Show History

Big Gay Sex Show was first produced in 2007 and was a proud member of The Freak Network, The Rainbow Podsquad, and Pride48.com. It ran for three years and produced around 150 episodes. It also returned almost every year for a reunion show as part of the Pride48.com live broadcast event. During its initial run, BGSS was number one on iTunes in seven countries and in the US beat out Oprah and This American Life for the number one spot. It remained in the top three during it run, was nominated for several podcasting awards, and stayed in iTunes top 10 a year after it had ceased production. When the hosting service was finally closed, BGSS had been downloaded over 1.1 million times.

Missing doing a regular podcast, co-hosts Matt & Weegie revived the show in 2019 as Big Gay Sex Show: The Daddy Years. The show remains a personal journal podcast, and is meant to listened to for entertainment value only.
